The tacos came with fried chicken, which I was not anticipating from a taco place… but maybe it’s because I’m not a local. However, the food was still fantastic! The flavor was incredible (two chicken tacos, beans, rice) and the price was super reasonable compared to some other places in Chicago. I’d definitely recommend this place. I removed the tomatoes from my tacos in the pic, hence the reason they’re on my beans lol.
4-28-2022 Taco dinner plate -al pastor/pork - solid -carne asada/steak - solid -pollo/chicken- different… it’s a piece of fried chicken (drumstick) cut up. Not bad, but would prefer to just have a piece of chicken on the side. Next time. -rice and beans - very good, particularly the beans Prices have risen significantly, like everywhere else.
Love them top tier family run business great food for a great price! I love how authentic the food is but how they also have fun cushion things like fried chicken for their pollo tacos. The staff is super friendly and this is a neighborhood staple. Highly recommend the Barbados on Saturday
All right people let’s review this restaurant I’ve been coming here for a minute and I can’t believe I have not rated this restaurant anyway so I gotta say this is a real good restaurant food is great. People are great prices are great portions are great there’s nothing bad to say about this place a very low-key Location, Huron and Elizabeth Street Once again, if you guys wanna eat good for the low, this is the spot not like other places “Pasadita “ So here they got specials, but even the regular plates are in a decent price for example, for lunch I’m having a taco special Taco special comes with two tacos, your choice of meat and ingredients, and 8 ounces cup of rice for $7 you can’t beat that “pasadita” lol Anyways, I didn’t even spend $10 and I’m gonna eat good!! Thanks Primo!!!
Solid steak burrito. Good prices. Green salsa is Delicious. The side of beans is very good but the rice is mediocre. Will definitely make this my regular burrito swab.
I ordered the taco dinner. It was good, but I don’t think it was worth $14. I’ll come back and try some more things on their menu to reevaluate later.
Been going there for years food is all ways good and customer service is great that's why I always go there.
Great little Mexican taco shop and market. Food is amazing and authentic, solid working-class clientele and a throwback neighborhood storefront in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. Great quality and prices, practice your Spanish for ordering!
